The Angel Venture Forum

PLEASE RETURN TO THIS SITE PERIODICALLY AS WE WILL CONTINUE TO UPDATE IT WITH INFORMATION REGARDING THE ANGEL VENTURE FORUM.

The second Angel Venture Forum will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at The Union League of Philadelphia, 140 South Broad Street. Hours: 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.

At the March 1999 Angel Venture Forum, a highly successful event, 100 private investors attended, and more than $1 million was raised by presenting entrepreneurs.

The Angel Venture Forum is a cooperative, regional one-day conference hosted by The Pennsylvania Private Investors Group, The Tri-State Private Investors Network, The Private Investors Network (of D.C.) and Loosely Organized Retired Executives. Sandles Capital Resources, a private equity firm specializing in angel capital, is the Executive Director of The Angel Venture Forum.

It is an Exclusive and Unique private equity event:

  • Nine entrepreneurs are selected to present to an audience consisting solely of private investors.
  • Due to this exclusivity, investors are not distracted by too many deals and entrepreneurs are provided with the time and attention they deserve.
  • Entrepreneur presentations last a full 15-minutes, plus a 5-minute Q&A session with the investor audience. No other venture conference allows for this focused level of time and attention from the audience.
  • Private investors are exclusively invited. Venture capital funds, whose legal charter is to invest in start-up and early stage companies, are also welcome.
  • Other than sponsorship, service providers are not invited. Sponsorship opportunities are limited (please contact ellen@angelinvestorfunding.com if interested).
  • In addition to presenters, only six entrepreneurs will be selected as exhibiting companies. Thus, only a total of 15 highly screened companies will be brought to the attention of our investor audience.
  • An optional Angel Investor Workshop will be held at the beginning of the day, for investor education purposes.

We are having a total of 16 companies, 9 of whom will also be Presenters.
